As a consequence of the ki drain, Gohan loses the ability to use ki attacks and fly. Who wins?

Not the previous champ(s) or the future ones. It probably wouldn't matter what all he did to get that fame, but I totally see where you're coming from. I still think Gohan wins. At least give him his Demon martial arts to use against Hercule's wrestling and possibly fighting combat style. I see Gohan being way physically stronger than Hercule. Saiyaman beats Satan again.

Minus the ki parts of the battle do you really think he could destroy Dabura's sword, or even fight evenly? Winning a budokai against much weaker fields than the previous budokais is not of a feat to me. Being trained by Goku and Piccolo makes Gohan 1000x the fighter Satan would ever be. No chance.

Gohan is probably more skilled too. He was trained by goku and piccolo and goku was trained by gods

Posts: 1,173 Group: Member Member #10,454 Joined: November 6, 2013	The thing that some of you say like "saiyans are stronger" or that "Gohan is stronger" is completely false as they should be completely equal in any form of strength except for skills. Or is durability and stuff like that still active here? In that case Satan wins because of his Kid Buu/Cell level of durability. If they are completely equal then i still give it to Satan, i never saw Gohan as having any Martial Arts skills, he has never really shown any skills like that, any training he did was strength training.

The announcer makes it pretty clear that the contestants in the budokai Mr. Satan won weren't at a really high level, at least compared to the budokais Goku participated. If even Goku at those old times could beat Mr. Satan only with his skills, I don't see why teenager Gohan wouldn't, rusty or not.
